LOCAL DEVELOPMENTS
The work of Interseed began in 2009 and continues through to the present.
At the local level, numerous local assistance programs have been completed over the years to aid people in distress and welfare organisations in need. Interseed have facilitated a variety of programs that have played a key role in assisting the continued work of welfare organisations that share similar emphases to those that guide the function of Interseed. They have benefited from construction programs that have made for more efficient workplaces and expanded or rehabilitated facilities.
In addition, numerous families in need have benefited from reconstruction programs to repair significant damage caused as a result of events like: the widespread flooding in Queensland in 2011; white ant infestation; structural collapse, and the failure of systems just to name a few.
INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENTS
Internationally, Interseed, with the help of generous private and corporate donors, have invested significant resources to further the work of agencies that have an historic and well respected track record of providing aid to impoverished and isolated peoples.
2012 NEPAL
Construction of 2 buildings to contain 4 classrooms and future medical clinic as well as a multi–use structure for an existing welfare organisation that caters to the needs of homeless and exploited children.
2010 THE PHILIPPINES
Construction of a building to accommodate administration and receiving and distribution of supplies and equipment to community developments and health and education projects in remote villages.
2010 VANUATU
Construction of a facility to be used for teacher training and a kindergarten school. In addition, the building would be used by a local organization supporting children with disabilities and for workshops on parenting or family issues open to community participation.
2009 MONGOLIA
Completion and internal fit-out of a partially constructed 2 storey concrete building to be used as an Orphanage and Hostel.
2008 THE PHILPPINES
Construction of 3 buildings to serve as a medical clinic and housing.
